I took Ruby and Lacey up to the vets this morning for their annual boosters. When we got home I took them out for their usual walk. However since we got back Ruby has not seemed her usual bouncy self. She just seems very quiet and she is laying on her cushion sleeping. Could this be an effect of the jab??? Lacey is absolutely fine.

It is highly possible that it is just the effect of her booster. Beau and Albus both go very quiet after their boosters but a couple of days later they are back to normal.

All dogs react differently just as we humans do.

Yes, it can affect them like this, - especially if she had quite an active walk straight afterwards. Just let her sleep it off for the rest of the day and she should be fine. :) If you're still worried about her tomorrow then have a word with your vet to be on the safe side. Hope she's soon back to her usual self.

Yes, sometimes mine are subdued and quiet after their jabs.

Let them sleep it off, and as long as they havnt got a high temperature and go off their food they should be fine.

like the above poster said, if you are at all worried, phone your vet.

Gypsy had hers a few weeks ago and was a bit quiet for a while afterwards..........she soon perked up at dinner time :- "

Hope Ruby soon perks up :huggles:

Where you been anyway, its about time you put some

recent pictures of Lacey and Ruby on.

Kaya's interested in how her sister's looking lately
