Another Dog Nearly Dies At The Hands Of The Police

That's appalling. I hope someone will be held to account for what that poor dog suffered.

Tbh, I wish the police could be taken out of the equation for lost dogs altogether and Dog Wardens made solely responsible. The police are hopeless, I've heard so many stories of people ringing for lost dogs and being told they don't have them only to find they've been at the police station all the time - they just didn't recognise the breed and logged the dog as something else (in one case a terrier x was logged in as a 'spaniel' )

No excuse for this to happen, though. You'd think after that awful incident with the greyhound they'd have some proper procedures in place :(

They didn't learn from the death of that poor greyhound and now another dog nearly suffered the same fate.

How useless must they be on the whole if they don't bother to log in their books that there is a living creature under their care??!!

And we wonder why criminals get away with so many crimes not getting caught.....

wonder if it would be a "human error" if I had done that to my dogs.....

Honestly - I am lost for words.

Well, let's just hope that no strays are taken in while that "specific member of staff" is on their 2 week holidays then eh???

And when they do get caught, what a sentence eh, 3 or 4 meals a day,as much crack as they want, time off for conjugals, gyms, coloured telly, paying em cash in hand for early release, this country has had it
