Sorry to ask another question about our garden but people have been so helpful with other questions that I thought I'd ask for help again. :thumbsup:

As you may know if you read my posts, we are having to fence the whole garden to make it secure for Jonah as he keeps jumping over walls. :rant: We are having a bit of a problem with this last wall as it is not very suitable for knocking posts in the ground. My husband thought of getting some brackets to attach to the wall so that we could tie some wire netting between them but don't know where to get hold of them. Can anyone help or maybe someone's got a better idea. Here's the wall in question. It is driving me mad not being able to allow the dogs to browse unsupervised, and it would be nice to be able to leave the door open so they can go in and out at will.

How high is the wall? He's a good jumper, it looks quite high from the photos. He's done a great job of flattening the bluebells down too :b

Is it possible to put a few thin posts in front of the wall & then attatch some netting?

It must be at least 12m long, Tracey, (apologies for calling you Meg in my PM. I misread a reply to you from someone else :b Silly me!!) although there's a bit in the middle where I think the undergrowth is too thick for him to get at the wall.

And it's about 5 ft high, Julie. I told you he'd be good at agility. :lol: :clown:

I reckon you ought to dig a 3ft trench in front of the wall, it's the only way you are going to keep him in if he can jump that high :lol:

A neighbour has put some trellis up on a similar drystone wall he has around his property. He has inserted small wooden batons on to the wall itself. I imagine it's to suppost a climbing plant. Some Russian Vine would cover it in no time and look very pretty too. I'll see if I can get some photos.

Russian vine will cover it but it grows +++ and will climb everywhere we were always having to cut it back wouldn't have another , what about a hop plant very nice butnot evergreen or honeysuckle lovely smell
