Judy do you realise that you sound like a stuffy school marm correcting someone's homework rather than an adult replying to another adult? ;)

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Sorry Barbara, I just thought I was being polite, you petulant child, you ;) I just didn't want Helen to get the wrong idea from what you had posted as, like Chris & Scott have said, there are set procedures to clear a dog.

To save confusion Joanna and Helen it would probably be better if when you come up on Sunday, nice and early before we get too busy ,Hannah ,Myself or Julia will be more than happy to explain to you about the clearing process .This will take place over a couple of weeks to make sure that Archie is not going to be a danger to himself or other dogs on the track... ...I have read the previous posts re Clearing dogs for racing and I have to say that yes it does differ in some clubs but i would like to add that ALL affiliated WCRA clubs have set procedures in clearing dogs and your racing manager / club secretary should be able to put you straight ... o:)

Does that mean I have to get out of bed early Chris?

Oh and thanks for the interest on the thickie thread every-one.....I am sure Helen and myself and all other thickies are very grateful for the imparted knowledge. I am just longing for the day I do the lingo and graduate from thickiedom

I'm sorry to hear that Rae .... :( .....What Leia been up to now ?? .

Sorry if I've spoken out of turn Barbara, or stepped into a personal spat between you and Judy. It was not my intention to offend you, call you a liar, or upset you. I was merely trying to help newer members with regards to trialling dogs! :*

Blimey! Steady on everybody - ALL of you have words of wisdom, and Joanna and I are eager to hear everything everybody has to say :)

PS: didn't mean to speak for you, Jo but I'm sure we're both interested to hear from anybody and everybody on the board...

Barbara - I did not call you a liar or an almost liar. Neither did Scott. I am sorry if that is how you took it but saying that somebody else is wrong about something, which I thought I did in the politest possible way, is not at all the same thing as calling somebody a liar.

Scott - I'm sorry, I wasn't aware there was a spat untill Beejays last post :( , which seems to have been deleted as well now.

Absolutely Helen!

We are the learners who love to learn from the learned

It looks like every-one is sort of saying the same thing and individual experience and judgement is used in giving a dog the all clear.

Appreciate all the opinions, and reading between the lines, you are all singing from the same song sheet.

Looking forward to seeing you all Sunday with my thinner dog :) :D :D
