Any Lurcher Racing In Ireland?

hi all... im new to this site...and really enjoyin readin all your posts..

I have two workin lurchers.. one is a first cross collie x greyhound the other is a deerhound/collie x greyhound.. i was wondering if anybody knows of any clubs or events for racing lurchers in the south of ireland???
 
im also interested as im in the south of ireland aswell :)
 
hi lurchermad & irish pup.. the only gamefair i really know off in the south that has lurcher showing & racing at it is the National Country Fair, Emo Court, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. its on the 5th & 6th June. but there is some really good ones in the north if use were prepared to travel a bit :thumbsup:

also as far as I know, a Countryside Alliance game fair in Clonmel, Co Tipperary at the beginning of August

There was an Irish greyhound trainer who also has whippets who used to post messages at k9 (Martin Turner??) so maybe he's organising some races for whippets and lurchers??
