the vans being a sod again and wouldnt start mr rac man said 3 out of 4 glow plugs are knackerd there only hes adviced we replace all 4 there only about £8 each are the easy to do yourself or is it a garedge job and how big a jobits a mid engine hi ace van. that im going to take a hammer too very soon

thought toyota glow plugs where £25 each ish (w00t) mid engined (w00t) depends what access you have when you remove the cowl . think you have to be careful as if they to tight seized, they could brake off, BIG PROBLEM THEN. no fitters do a bit of w/e work to keep the cost down.

 for the scarf set spot on,hope you get sorted

My OH just replaced the Glow Plugs in our fourtrak, I had a look around at prices, and they varied greatly. I bought a set of 4 for £15 off ebay, arrived the next day and voila - Hubby can thrash around in the mud again

I'll ask him how easy it will be on your van.

Sorry I'm no help but hope you get it sorted out soon

change them all,easy job

Glad to hear both you and your Houndmobile are firing on all cylinders again Tony. I hate bloody Hypo's my Dad could go through a bout of them quite often, not nice.

Take care, and remember to watch out for the signs of one or Wendy will be there with pins again :- "
