Hi all,

Just got Blues KC papers through:

His name is - Wellswalk Lord Of The Manor

Sire - Khabaray Rembrandt Of Owainglyndwar ( lots of Hillsdown breeding on this

side of the family....)

Dam - Pamrays The Wings Of The Wind (quite a few Oakbarks on this side...)

Any relatives on K9?...

Moo :)

Hi Blue - from Oscar (Veredon Singapore Sling)

and my last little boy Chip had Oakbark breeding too

Hmmm... It would seem Hillsdown Fergal has been a busy boy when it comes to Blues Breeding!

I'm just gonna go count his toes!

Lol, Josie's got Hillsdown Fergal way back. He was a busy-busy boy!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Hillsdown Fergal the sire of CH Pencloe Dutch Gold, BIS Crufts 1992 and probably one of the most widely used studs of recent times? Every time I've looked at a whippet pedigree recently P.D.G. has been present several times on both parent lines.

It would be interesting to know just how many dogs on K9 are related to this line in some way (apart from mine who has virtually no show breeding, apart from a few Shalfleet CHs way back)?

:D that's Josie's grandad on her Sire's side and great-great-grandad on her Dam's side. Rowangarth Dawn Wind is such a beautiful name.

And Parkstone Sweet Harmony is Josie's great-grandma!

I'm glad this thread started, it's made me get out her pedigree and have another look. There are some gorgeous names on her papers - Black Knight of Carmodian... Peppermint of Peperone... Nile Dreamboat of Khartoum... what fantastic names!!

here's another one: Saxon Blade. How cool is that?

Yep - Hillsdown Fergal in Star's pedigree too

How come she looks nothing like him then   (She could swallow him whole (w00t) )

Hope Blue is settling well Moo. :D

Pencloe Dutch Gold was Diggers Great grandparent and great great great grandparent on his dads side and great great grandparent on his mums.

Hillsdown Fergal appears on both sides as great great and great great great gransparent:)

Hope that makes sense - lost the plot with the 'greats' :- " :- "

The pup I will be bringing home from Sweden in few weeks time has Fergal on both sides of her pedigree - as a great grandparent on the sire's side, and as a great great grandparent on the dam's side.

You would probably get less responses if you asked the owners of whippets that did not have Fergal in their pedigrees to come forward ;)

 Dutch was a BOY

2 Chs` Umm maybe that would be AM Ch , or Ger CH ? ( american or german ) but CH CH ? never seen that one before  SH Ch M is Show Certificate of Merit .( dont ask me how you get that , its very complicated and means nothing in the long run :teehee:  ) Sh CH is Show Certificate , , all Uk Gundogs have to prove they can do the job they were made to ,before they can drop the SH from their title :(
