This is what really saddens me Heather. The beagle breeders/judges have encouraged excessive loose skin in some lines. Entropian wasn't a problem in Beagles although it was in Bassets and some other breeds.Years ago I bred Basset Hounds and Entropian was rife then, Surgery used to cure the problem, and most stock with Entropian wasnt then bred from (So they say!!!)
Its where the lashes Curl inward and rub the Eye (Just incase someone did not know, I'm sure you do)

It is even more painful than it looks as it is a constant irritation on the eyeball. Hope this little lads eyes are soon sorted to give him relief, I wonder also about the rest of the litter and relations/breeding line. I hope they are all given the same care as this boy is getting.
