just wondered if anyone has any idea if ernie mitchelson is still around? its been years since i raced and ernie was always a great help in those days i think his sons were eddy and ian and he raced all over the country but his local tracks were coxlodge and wallsend(both tracks). cant recall the last dogs he raced but he always had good uns! any info would be appreciated.

If its mitch you on about then he's still about. He stoped whippet racing last year and has now started greyhound racing.

we see him all the time. take the dogs walking the same place as him. he is into greyhounds now like sharon says, hes got 3 which he races @ easington. latest trick, wee man ( i think) and mountain satin. he does still have one whippet hunters tweed who is litter sister to acca. peter will prob b ringing him or will c him in the next few days so il get him to say *hi* 4 u.
