Get a normal lead. I hate extending leads, they should be banned!! :rant:

The milk bottles are a good idea, we have loads of them! (Washed out though so as not to get a nasty smell in the house!)

I would only be using the extending lead when the dog is fully trained. I find they are good to let the dog go off and have a sniff etc when you are on a bridleway or somewhere you know the dog could get out to the road.

Our adult whippet knows now exactly how far she can go from us when she is that lead. :wub:

We bought some Nylabone plastic keys for Wilfy when he was little. I thought £5 was a bit steep at the time but they were great for when he was teething and he's still enjoying them aged 3.
