I read this story in the mail, the man who did it was pictured clear as a bell

as was the beautiful back andwhite horse the tosser killed.

that poor animal died within 34 secs of entering the water, i wont want the 34 sec that B**T**D will get when the boys get hold of him!!! the boys will not only lynch him for what he has done but also the action will give those who want the fair banned , all the ammo they need!! :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant:

I live bout 6miles from Appleby and everyone here is disgusted at what has happened. One of the girls i go to college with has some of the travellers keeping horses in her field and she was sayin there is a very thin horse there and they worked it all day in the baking sun, later on most of the families were away so her dad went to see how he could help it as it was on the verge of collapse. Also the police are too scared to do anything. They are letting them smash windows, throw bricks at people etc and never are able to get fingerprints. YEA RITE!!! however go over 30 mph on a scooter and youll be knicked at this time of year :- "

these people arent animal lovers.theyre animal keepers.to treat any animal like that is wrong and the police are just as bad if they dont take any action.if they stand by and watch it happen as far as im concerned that makes them as bad as the people comitting the offence. :rant:

Rough as badgers half of them, excuse my pun... but they land on the way back around where we live in the laybys - horses tethered with ropes and chains ...eating anything free on the way home.... :rant:

Horses always die there, either in the river, or by being made to trot up and down all day. :rant:

last year some one was hit in the face with an axe. Completely agree with u that it should be axed. There is always a lot of cover up as to how the horses are treated. At the rescue we are awaiting the tens of lurchers we get that are just left to die on the fell! :rant: :rant: :rant:
