Well we are getting very excited now about this weekend. :D

:luck: to Archie - he will be racing Star I guess so tell him to be a gentleman and let her win for a change :p How many dogs do you need in a clearing trial?

You need 4 dogs for a clearing trial. AND the dog has to overtake and be overtaken cleanly. Looking for this to happen not just out of the traps as well but up the track.

>I may put him in the elite group with the other 4 or 5 dogs in that group

Well last week at East Sussex there were 7 Champions running in the equivalent weight groups.

That's what I mean Barb...............He would only see the dust they kicked up and they would off the track by the time he got out of the traps.Bless  My tongue is in my cheek as I type :- "

LOL .......He'll be h/c to clear on Sunday ...........Star should start in front of Archie, and the other dogs placed away behind him so that they both over take him at a good way up the track :) ........He'll also need to do the 3 trials again due to his umm

We've sadly had to postpone due to unforseen events (plasterer giving 3 days notice when radiators need to be removed, fitted wadrobes stripped out and room clearing :( )

Watch this space

Best laid plans etc etc. Sounds like you are going to be horribly busy (as opposed to nicely busy I mean). Sounds very disruptive. :(

So that he overtakes Star  :b and the others overtake him - and it will be the same race 3 times?

What does h/c to clear mean :b

:clown: Sorry but I thought I'd better pull my finger out and start finding out what Supe  will be doing eventually.

Flaming plasterer Jo  Nevermind, the lobster lives another day and Star has more time to practice

It means that the dogs won't be running off their weights. All of the dogs have to be put at set distances in order to achieve the overtaking and being overtaken that is needed.

Can you ask Cara to dig out a recipe for Lobster Thermidor as this is our favourite  Such a shame, I had a little surprise lined up for Gaz too..He'll just have to wait a weeny bit longer

I have emptied the wadrobes, and taken 5 bin bags of crap to the charity shop today, sooooooooooooooo glad we didn't attempt to do all this in an evening or a morning. You so underestimate the time an effort :sweating:

h/c = handicapped :clown: duh. Thanks Barbara

Cara will never give her recipies away Jo 8)

Oh I don't mean give one to me, I mean cook it for us  Lloyd has been trained to cook it and is very good............if she doesn't have a recipe, I can provide one for her ;)

I literally finished all jobs on the list at 5pm this evening..........................So glad we postponed Rae, it would have been a nightmare (w00t)

See you very soon ;)
