My 2 boys are with M&S and for some reason (apparently they are not down as KC reg whippets) the prices haven't gone up so they will be staying with them.

However I need to ensure Miss Peggy-Sue so was going to go with the platinum cover from Argos which looks pretty good - but has anyone actually claimed from them? Do they pay up easily?

Im with Argos with 2 of mine , but havent had the misfortune to make a claim  sorry , but cant help ( Ive taken the platimum option too )

I have made cliams with M& S in the past and they paid up , but when the renewel came it was a 70% increase (w00t) so changed to Argos ;)

ditto  Haven't made a claim with Argos yet. Monty is with them (platinum) although Josie and Lola still with M&S.

I don't know as I'm not with them, but jammy you, re the pedigree issue (w00t) 8) :- "

I went for the platinum Argos cover for Ruby. Hope we don't have to find out about the paying up! Seems a very good level of cover - i pay £10.92 a month

But what if you needed to claim? would it not make the policy void if you didn't inform them  sorry to seem over cautious its just I hate it when insurance companies get out of paying because of technicalities, is there a big difference in price for KC reg? sorry I don't know anything about them  just wondered

No it's okay Lesley - I rang up becuase we couldn't work out why my insurance didn't go up but it did for my dads whippets. They explained they just made an error originally but it doesn't effect my insurance and they are happy to leave it as it is :D Didn't help my dad though!!

I did a quote today for the Pegster and you just just choose 'pedigree dog' then 'whippet' but I did do the boys over the phone. Anyway it was about £21 per month, argos is £11... (w00t)

I have all mine insured with Argos, I have made several claims and they have always paid up promptly directly to my vet, no problems.
