For anyone interested in the fate of Arthur, the poor Saluki x that I fostered briefly a couple of weeks ago....
...well, although we were sorely tempted to keep him on, he went back to the vets as planned, as Eli was clearly unhappy about his 'attentions' :b . We did decide though that if we still hadn't homed him by the time he was castrated, I'd have him back to see how things were between the two of them.
However, the following weekend he went on trial to a home with 3 other dogs, who he got on famously with, and whose owners fell in love with him (as I did
), so it does look as if he has found his forever sofa :luck: .
Even better, they live in my village! So we can stay in touch, still see him, and go for walks together  ....it also means that if there are any problems, I really am only just around the corner for them.
Beautiful boy
