For anyone interested in the fate of Arthur, the poor Saluki x that I fostered briefly a couple of weeks ago....

...well, although we were sorely tempted to keep him on, he went back to the vets as planned, as Eli was clearly unhappy about his 'attentions' :b . We did decide though that if we still hadn't homed him by the time he was castrated, I'd have him back to see how things were between the two of them.

However, the following weekend he went on trial to a home with 3 other dogs, who he got on famously with, and whose owners fell in love with him (as I did :( ), so it does look as if he has found his forever sofa :luck: .

Even better, they live in my village! So we can stay in touch, still see him, and go for walks together  ....it also means that if there are any problems, I really am only just around the corner for them.

 dessie, it's by Comfort Zone equestrian, from our local agri merchants....not actually a sighthound coat, but he was so thin and cold, and it fitted him a treat bless him. Not sure if you can get them on line or not? Got William one in desperation when he was tiny, but had to adapt it as they come up a bit big on the chest & shoulders but short in the back.

Think it was just luck really that Arthurs seemed just right for him. He does look lovely in it doesn't he

so pleased arthur found a home can stop crying now when i read about him

good :luck: to all concerned

Brilliant news, I'm so pleased that you will be able to keep in touch with him - it makes parting with them a little easier doesn't it?

I love his coat as well!!
