Kobis neck is quite small compared to Oscar when he was that age. - he is now 18 weeks old. My small fishtailed collar that was originally Oscar's still dosnt fit. I could punch an extra hole in, I just have a narrow webbed typed collar on him.

At what age should he wear the broader collar or does it not really matter too much.

Oscar is a puller - but Kobi isnt so no worries with the narrow collar

Just wondered really - any advice.?

I dont think it really matters so long as it fits him properly and he cant get hooked on anything

Ours only wear fishtailed collars to shows. They wear ones like Kobi when out in the day but have some material wrapped round so they dont rub and they pull like anything

Mine only wear fishtail colars , except in the show ring :- " . I`ve never even thought about putting `cat` collars on them .

all mine were fabric colers in the houes just to hold there id tags and fishtail colers when there out i fined the fishetails arent needed all the time and car rub fir off so can nylon ones is warn all the time. i allready have 3 cat collers readyfor when indy comes and the colers in verying sizes as she gets biger. but the most inprtant thing for a coller is to have lots of bling bling on it

Rosie Blaze and Maggie are 6 months . Maggie came back to us with a fishtail colar but Rosie and Blaze still wear leather puppy colars as I can't get one smal enough to fit them.

Awwww Kobi is GORGEOUS no matter what he wears   I remember it seemed to take ages for Jillys fishtail collar to fit her and she wore one like Kobis till it did

Thanks Pam - his neck is much smaller and no other collar seems to fit him. This isnt a cat collar just a puppy webbing one.

I do prefer the leather ones but they look too bulky just yet on his little neck. o:)

My dogs never wear collars in the house at all - just when being walked.
