We have our puppy now. Jenny arrived home on 8 July and we are thrilled to bits with her. Her mother had lost patience with the puppies and would only feed them once a day, so we were allowed to have her early- 7wks 2days. We had spent some time with Jenny from the initial viewing of the litter to bringing her home. This made it easy for her to settle in and she has really bonded with us. I hope that she will be as happy with us as we are with her. We have taken her on holiday to our caravan and she took that in her stride. She sleeps on my knee as we travel but we intend to use a harness that attaches to the car's seatbelt when she is older. Our two other dogs used them and we never had any problems. Right now Jenny is curled up at my feet. Two minutes ago she was charging round the room like a thing possessed. When she sleeps a bomb could go off and she wouldn't flinch, when she's awake she is super charged, she's good fun though. It's nine years since we last had a dog, and she was just short of 14 when we had to say goodbye. I understand how new mums feel, I am exhausted. I will upload some more pics if I can workout this photobucket technology. Bye for now, Lynda
