I was on holiday in the New Forest (Sandy Balls -a great place for dogs btw  ) last week, with my friend, and we arranged to meet up with Avon (Chris and her OH, Pete) at Mudeford Beach.

I forgot to pack my camera, but Chris had brought along a friend and she took several good photos of the dogs - ours seeing the sea for the first time

There was lots of loverly seaweed for Twiggy (aged 11 that week) to roll in, but both girls stayed clear of all the wet stuff at the edge of the sand :( Sid tried to sghow them it was OK , but they were wimps.

Here is Sid meeting Polly - love at first sight

Then he met Twiggy - in the time honoured way

He tried to show the girls the wet stuff was OK

Thanks for a great morning, Chris and Pete and thanks to your friend for taking the photos.

Maybe I'll remember my camera next time and we can try some action shots :teehee:

Lovely photos, it's no brilliant the way whippets just seem to "get on" with each other  Did you have nice weather the whole time you were there? It looks really pleasant!

Lovely pictures Janet - glad you had a good holiday - looks like the dogs did anyway.

I was thinking Twiggy looks a bit like my old dog Chip in that photo. :)

Best wishes Janis

Mudeford is really close to us but we've never been

Is it easy to get too, whats the parking like? We may have to go down to see what its like. :)

Yes it was a great morning and the weather was on our side too. It was lovely seeing Twiggy Polly and Sid playing together. I knew you would do a better job of posting the pictures than I would - well done. Speak to you soon :D

Never been to Mudeford - shame on you. :- " Parking is FREE in some car parks and at the end of the month is also free in the Beach car park, but not on Mudeford Quay. If you do visit pm me and let me know so Sid can show your whippets the local "sites" :p
