Don't worry julie i will be doing all i can to stop this from happening again.

My little lad was very upset with it all and thought the worst which is not nice for a 7yr old to see so i can assure i will be doing all i can.

have you informed the police? as it was near the school it would be wise to warn other parents and the police should make enquiries as to the location and temprement of the dog to protect the public. Also inform the dog warden, they may have more advice for you. Hope ur dog is better soon and send her big hugs for being brave :huggles: How is youur child? very sad to witness that at such a young age, hope it doesnt affect him too much. regards and best wishes

Very sorry to hear that this has happened to Teya and your family. I do hope she heals well, physically and mentally.

Stormydog ... do you not think that whilst you were berating the "irresponsible B.....ds" of owners of the other dog, that your response was actually irresponsible? It's not a good look to encourage people to commit criminal acts - no matter how angry you may be.

ERMMM..... HOW DOES NOPE !! SOUND TO YOU ASLAN ?

:huggles: :huggles: to Teya and your son. So glad that Teya is going to make a full recovery.

Good luck finding them, i think they need to be aware of the cost and damage their dog has done..

I was going to say report it to the police and the school, they may have a report of this dog if its done it before.

Was the dog on a lead or off??

Glad to hear that Teya should make a full recovery. An awful experience for Teya, you and the young kids to have to witness.

I'm glad you will follow it up and try to trace the owners, what happened is serious, your dog was badly hurt .

After all the cost to Teya physically and mentally and the worry and upset it caused you as well as vet costs, these owners should face the consequences for their dog.

I wish you the very best and hope you find these owners and at least get vet fees paid and an apology. :luck:

Sounds like it's not worth getting into an argument with you.

Sorry to hear about Teya, must have been a nasty moment for you both :( .

Two wrongs don't make a right  , but the owners need to know what has gone on and help with some or all of the cost and give them the chance to redeem themselves if the wish, if not report them to the controling bodies.

Teya had the all clear yesturday but still has got to go back on wednesday just to make sure it has knitted together, As for the owner we have now put posters up near to where it happened warning all and hopefully we will find the owner who has kept a very low profile since.

We have also reported it to the dog warden who is also patroling the area as and when, and we have now been in contact with our community policewomen who also is going to log the complaint.

YES WE ARE GETTING CLOSER!!.........AND WHEN WE DO

Once again thank you for your kind words and Teya sends a big :huggles:

Nothing to do with this thread really but in the dog press this week there is an article about a kid that was attacked in the playground by a dog that was with it's owner picking up another kid. I thought that dogs were banned from playgrounds, certainaly in schools round here they are.

gypsy sends :luck: get well wishes :luck: to her sister teya :huggles:

good luck on wednesday :luck:
