I bet Austin had a great holiday...hope you did too. :D

Austin's pic just reminds me that I'll have to teach Ruby to tie up ready for going away in my caravan. Any tips?

Stunning pup.

Do you have a secret diet you feed Austin? He has such a beautiful shiny coat.

meddling - He's just over 11 months. It's gone so quick but we've enjoying every minute and don't know what we'd do with out him now.

Maggie 217 - we have got a stake with a plastic coated cord, we thought it would be safer than a chain (incase he gets his legs tangled).

We didn't really train him, he had to be staked in the garden when hubby was working on his car so that he didn't get oil etc all over himself and he was fine with it.

As long as he can see one of us he's ok. And we didn't leave him on his own.

Plastic cord ...good idea  I have a plastic covered chain from the horse's stables but think that will be too heavy. Did you put the clips on the cord yourself or did you buy it already made up?

Cheers

Pauline

Hubby got it from pets at home (I think), little bit more expensive than the chain one, but no more than £15 I think.

Comes all ready with the clips on.

Do you mean the plastic chains to go across the door way? I think it would be too heavy.

Thanks for that. I'll look at Pets at Home, that looks just the job. Yes I did mean the door chains. I was clearing up in my stables the other day and picked up the door chain, but I am sure you are right it will be too heavy. Except for the most short term use of a few minutes anyway. Not suitable for holidays.

Another stunning sleek, shiny coated black (and white) whippet.

Where abouts did you camp in the Forest? Was it close to Lyndhurst in the end? :)

It's such a great place for exercising dogs...no sheep to worry about and vast areas of open moorland, common grazing land and forests.
