Auckland LKA CH 26/27 Oct

This weekend was our first time in the ring since August '07 ( when 'Olli' got the DCC ) .... I think it was a bit of a shock for the dogs , they thought they'd all retired (w00t) .

Both days we had American judges and I really had no idea of what they would be looking for ???

First day : 'Olli' ( Willingwisp Twist N Shout for Arjuna Imp UK ) won Open Dog but went no further in the challenge ...

Second day he got RDCC , RBOB & Best Open of Breed

First day : 'Diva' ( Arjuna Amore Di Vita Imp UK ) won Intermediate Bitch, RBCC & Best Int of Breed

We had a lovely day ... sitting in the sun having a few glasses of 'Vino' & having a good old natter ... I've really missed being out & about with the kids .. everybody made us feel really welcome which was lovely as I was a bit worried about being the new 'Kid' :- " on the block !!!

Hopefully there will be a few 'Olli' kids around next year ... I'm looking forward to have a puppy in the ring again, its been a long time ......

Day 1 was Jane Trieber

Day 2 was Gloria Geringer

Both chose the same DCC & BCC but swapped around the reserves ..

Its ok. Outside the US, no one spells my name KRI its always KIR. My dad tried to tell my mom that KIR was the feminine version but she wouldn't listen to him. :- "

Thanks for the judges names. Its always nice to find US judges that have foreign experience, especially with my crew!
