Thanks, it was nice meeting you and your dogs too. I had a lovely time. I've never been to a proper dog show before - it was great seeing so many whippets in one place!alfyn said:I forgot to say it was great to also meet up with Gillian for the first time & i hope you enjoyed your day at bakewell

It was nice to chat to folk and watch the lovely whippets being shown. The weather didn't look too promising at first and we were holding our breath hoping it wouldn't rain, but the dark clouds passed over and the sun came out. It turned into quite a scorcher in the end. I purchased my annual Bakewell pudding, and some dahlias from the horticultural tent. It was a nice day out, as it always is at Bakewell.
Well done to all, especially Sharon with beautiful Bliss and Debs with her lovely boy.
I've just finished uploading my photos to photobucket, but see Sharon has beaten me to it. Never mind.
Nicola please put your photos onyours are always so much better than mine anyway
was great to see you yesterday

Your poor Mum...there was blood everywhere.... (w00t) and a huge chunk of skin hanging off her finger. I'm amazed I didn't keel over as I can't stand the sight of blood. Your mum was so calm about it bless her...
