thanks for the pix , cant believe how grown up Bliss is looking :*

Have to say thanks to everyone who helped my mum yesterday too .

she was holding a dog for someone whilst they were in the ring , everything was going fine right up untill the last minuet when he saw his "mum" in the ring and pulled to get to her , the lead went through my mums hand and really cut 2 of her fingers :( there was a lot of blood :x she is on asprin due to her heart attack a few years ago so of course things do bleed more :x

i of course was totally unaware of what was happening :- " as i was in the ring :b

and was met by a handfull of blood when i came out :x

i sent her off to the ambulance who dressed it then off to the medical tent where she had butterfly stitches and was told to have the rest of the week off work :sweating:

so thanks to everyone who threw tissues , antiseptic stuff etc at her (w00t)

Sharron,i thought initially that the dog had bitten your Poor Mum's hand as the wounds looked so nasty  I sloshed lavender oil over them to help soothe & at least get rid of any germs until she got medical attention....i hope she's feeling a bit better today :huggles:

It just goes to show how dangerous these horrible nylon leads can be!

I'm absolutley delighted with Baileys bob & group 2 wins & thanks for sharing the photos

Izzy was 2nd in the puppy stakes & won £10 & Poppy was 5th in the open stakes & got £2 :)

Well done Dawn on best puppy & group 4  & sharron,i thought Bliss looked

Gillian and I were both there yesterday, and enjoyed the show. It was nice to chat to folk and watch the lovely whippets being shown. The weather didn't look too promising at first and we were holding our breath hoping it wouldn't rain, but the dark clouds passed over and the sun came out. It turned into quite a scorcher in the end. I purchased my annual Bakewell pudding, and some dahlias from the horticultural tent. It was a nice day out, as it always is at Bakewell.
Well done to all, especially Sharon with beautiful Bliss and Debs with her lovely boy.

I've just finished uploading my photos to photobucket, but see Sharon has beaten me to it.  Never mind.

Nicola please put your photos on :( yours are always so much better than mine anyway :D

was great to see you yesterday

Thanks Sharon. :b I don't think there's much difference really..as we were all standing in the same area taking photos.... :D

Your poor Mum...there was blood everywhere.... (w00t) and a huge chunk of skin hanging off her finger. I'm amazed I didn't keel over as I can't stand the sight of blood. Your mum was so calm about it bless her... :)
