Paws crossed for Sam, I know he'll enjoy a long and happy retirement with you Audrey.

hope sam makes a full and a speedy recovery :luck: :luck: :luck:

Update on Sam.

First many thanks to all those who contributed for our injured dogs. The sum was a lovely surprise and will help such a lot with vets fees

Sam feels very much better and is eating and taking notice of everything. In face his biggest wish is to come out of his cage and run about with the others. He has to be taken out every few hours to stop him stiffing up. He can walk and cock his leg now but the damaged hip seems to go tottery every few steps.

I am so thankful that his back injury was no worse, vet diagnoses it as whiplash innjury.

I wish I knew how he fell, It think it was a fast race as he was up with the younger boys when it happened. It will take a long time for the awful incident to erase from my mind when I saw him go down. Thanks again for all the kind folk who helped.
