I really cannot see the big deal in making the bwra Sidewinder Saunter Veteran Championships open to any dog over 5 years old ..it gives people a chance to gain titles that their dogs may not have won over the years ..alot of good dogs miss out in there adult years at titles due to seasons and injury..

plus the amount of whippets racing has declined over the pass few years ..

i have raced my own dog blue goblin in vets the last 2 years and enjoyed having dogs to run against, theres not alot of dogs get thought a racing carers that can carry on racing when over 5 due to injuries ..i say let none champs run why not

Thankyou i was getting rather outnumbered for a while,i have phoned a certain committee member who tells me there will definately be no vet titles in bwra this year, so that just leaves the fed if it ever gets sorted out by may.

WHY can there be no vet titles this year, we all know that when a dog reaches 5 year old it has to be really exceptional to race with the younger ones and expect to win.... come on lets give the vets a fare chance of getting a title too, then once achieved they could run in a similar race to the sidewinder saunter for equivilent points......... :D

I THINK THIS GOT VOTED IN WITHOUT MEMBERS KNOWING THERE WOULD BE NO VET RACING AT THE CHAMPS FOR TITLES, IF YOU SAW MY FACE AT THE LAST CHAMPS YOU WOULD KNOW HOW MUCH THIS MEANT TO ANYONE WHO WON A TITLE.

Mark your face was a picture ..and you deserved everything you won

its a shame that the votes gone the way it has ...i have enjoyed the last 2 years vet racing ....
