Banner Signatures - Advice Please

I've been trying to change my signature pic - I really like the banners that some of you artistic people have, :thumbsup: :thumbsup: but I can't seem to size it correctly. The pic either comes out too small, or too large.

I spent ages yesterday on the computer, so some advice would be great before I smash the computer up or OH wants a divorce!!! :lol: :lol:

I used muchos to resize mine Sarah although I can't take credit for making it far too technophobic for that :clown:

I use either Microsoft Photo Editor to resize or Photobucket. :thumbsup:

Not sure about the kind of Banners Lesley & co have though ?? :unsure:

The image you're using at the moment is 100 pixels wide - I suggest resizing or using an image of about 300 pixels wide.

Most image software allows you to resize an image and you can also change the resolution it's saved at. Some software actually gives you the dimensions in inches - but that means nothing unless you know the resolution.

A 1" wide picture at 1000 pixels/inch will be 1000 pixels wide (i.e. much too wide for most monitors - often set at 800 pixels wide). but save that same 1" wide image at 300 pixels/inch will make it 300 pixels wide - just right...

Well done Nicola pics look nice :wub: I don't use muchos for mine now I use photobucket only thing with it is if you delete the pic out of there it dissapears from your signature too :unsure:

I'd like to know what software you need for the flashing moving ones too
