It was Monty's first show in weeks, we didn't get placed but I was pleased with how he went, so am happy
I also had the challenging experience of handling a rather attractive blue boy in minor pup at his first show

Bless him, he did get a bit of stage fright when we did it for real :- "  but the judge was lovely and spend loads of time fussing him, and we were lucky enought to get pulled out 4th :D Although he didn't match his brother's brilliant Best Puppy Dog

So even though I got up at 4 this morning, and Monty didn't get placed, and the weather was something else! I still thoroughly enjoyed the show  even if some of the grilling was a bit strong ;)

Well done everyone who got placed today

It was lovely to meet you - but especially lovely to meet the Monty - he's so gentle and his eyes are even more gorgeous in real life

The weather didn't really encourage anyone to photograph much!

I only have a few that my friends daughter took ... but they are only of Bluebell

Gill we were so pleased for you, congrats on your RCC and as always Hubble was a star.

Congrats to Cathie on best puppy dog and his litter mates in MPD and MPB who both showed well.

Well done to Louise on your win in veteran, it was strange to see you without a camera round your neck!

After just missing Crufts qualification by one at NWA we were thrilled to make it this time with our 6 month old puppy.

Well done to everyone else who was placed.

Congratulations to the Bitch CC and BOB Collooney Golden Girl of Sheol

and to the RCC Cryhavoc Contemplation    -  belonging to Val (fable on K9) - well done Val and Lettie!!   I think she won this from the Yearling class.

Apparently the weather has been awful, freezing cold, wet and windy - spectators were wrapped in blankets round the ring - so well done to any of the whippets who showed well today in spite of the ghastly weather, they all deserve a delicious tripe dinner when they get home! :)

Ooh Well done Val!! How wonderful for you! I totally missed this as I rushed out after Veteran to say goodbye to Jinx's owners and then packed up and got the heck outta dodge! So sorry to have not seen you to wish you a HUGE congrats in person!

Wendy

I had to keep popping between tibbies and whips - and weather didn't help the socialising did it?!

Thanks Wendy - she's usually such a baggage in the ring that I come out feeling exhausted :sweating: , but bless her , she absolutely showed her socks off on Monday - as you can imagine it felt quite unbelievable to do that with my first home-bred whippet - don't think my feet have touched the ground yet :D :D :D :D
