I have had this idea in my mind for ages and finally got around to doing something about it. It took several hours but here is the finished result. The bag is put together from patchwork pieces, the Whippet is embroidered. Bag is lined and has an internal pocket. The whole bag and handles are also lightly padded. It was several hours work but I'm pleased with it.

You're very talented. I was away at school and on a Sunday evening we had to participate in a craft (sewing or knitting) which I absolutely loathed :angry: :angry: . I managed to ensure that knitting a pair of mittens took me five years and I still didn't finish them!! :b :b :b

Well done. It looks a bit like a Japanese bag I saw on a digital channel. Theirs are made of a square of material that is folded and knotted and makes a bag very similar in shape to yours. The fabrics they use have traditional symbols printed on them, very beautiful. I wish I could remember how they did it, it looked so easy and practical.

Its machine embroidered. Takes about an hour to stitch out.
