That's fantastic news Eve :huggles: What a good girl she is  Looking forward to seeing loads of pictures of her dashing around with Toddy when her stitches come out

Aww well done Eve, sounds as though you're doing all the right things and so is Bella. I'm sure the clingness will lessen as she recovers from the op, finds her feet and starts enjoying the garden. Hopefully, once she's charging around with your pack and into a routine, she'll forget about what's gone before.

Awww, it sounds as though she's doing really well

Just a caution about the stitches (though I'm sure you already know this) but it's often as the wound heals and tightens that the stitches start to get uncomfortable and the dog will start gnawing at them, so keep an eye on her and have a buster collar at the ready just in case!

You must be looking forward to all this being behind her so she can get on with her new life and having fun :luck:

Yes, I am watching out for this. It was one of my concerns about her sleeping away from us. I may apply a little vasiline before bed tonight to keep the skin moist and soft. It is a bit early for gentle manipulation to keep the stitches loose (another favoutite precaution of mine).
