Yes, I am watching out for this. It was one of my concerns about her sleeping away from us. I may apply a little vasiline before bed tonight to keep the skin moist and soft. It is a bit early for gentle manipulation to keep the stitches loose (another favoutite precaution of mine).Awww, it sounds as though she's doing really well :wub:
Just a caution about the stitches (though I'm sure you already know this) but it's often as the wound heals and tightens that the stitches start to get uncomfortable and the dog will start gnawing at them, so keep an eye on her and have a buster collar at the ready just in case!
