I prefer straight racing as i used to go greyhound racing with my brother for a number of years and see some terrible injuries. But seeing i have a 50 plus whippet now and he has taken to the bends like hed been going around for months ill just have to close my eyes everytime he runs. Went to Dawdon to what good turn out a lot of work been done to the track and by allaccounts some more is going to be done once the weather has picked up well done Sharon & Tanya but next time order less wind ive never been so cold in my life.well done No surrender hes litter brother to my Challenger he ran a cracking race Well done to all the other winners and losers for making it a great days racing. I to am really pleased that Dawdon had a good turn out.Maybe there is a lesson here that if you have two opens on the same day one straight the other bends it would keep everyone happy especialy the clubs who are putting them on just a thought for the future as we all have our own preferances.I have always thought Dawdon is a great track and would have been there myself but with the bend championships being so close do not like to switch from one to the other .
