i know weve had this b4 but thought id do it again, which do u prefer and why?

me deffo the straights i find it so much more exciting its all over with so quickly

Have no particular preference at the moment so long as the events are well organised and run fairly.

i like the bends as you get to see more of the race and the way the dog gets itself in postion and when it makes its move to the front or when it kicks on vicky you say if an event is well organised and run fairly have you had probs b4 then if so what way would you say is a fair way to run .

I like both but gotta say i have always liked the bends more theres so much more time to get excited and shout on your dogs love it :D

Have to say have no preference, whippet racing is just that bends or straights, open racing or club racing like it all :D

Well organised does help (but sometimes things can go wrong which are out of our hands when organising and credit should be given to those who try to organise events, pats on the back for those who get it right, and lessons learnt for future for those who possibly don't or if things happen that can't be foreseen)

Run fairly, aren't all our events run 'fairly' i like to think so ;)

LIKE THEM BOTH BUT PREFER THE BENDS BETTER FACILITIES TO TAKE THE FAMILY HARLOW HIGHGATE CANT BEAT IT :D

I like straights dont think i would have got into racing if it had just been on the bends its a diffrent atmospher and i love it. if Tony wnats to race any of the young oes on the bends thats up to him i like the straights

i dont prefer one, i like them both the same. i just enjoy watching my dogs doing what they love, for some thats bend racing, eve is completely different on the bends to the straights & i love to see her so happy, for others its the straights.

i like both but if i have to pick one it would have to be the staights

i deffo think theres a diff atmosphere between bends and straights. the bends will b starting soon then i will b bored stiff but then again il have puppies 2 train during this bend season. (seems 2 drag on 4eva)

i think straights ask most people would they like sup straight or sup bend champion they will pick straight i think its true old fashion whippet racing but thats just my choice jeff.

well i wud like either title of course lol but if i had 2 choose it wud b straights

I prefer the bend racing as it offers a chance to the bigger dogs to show what they are capable of

also better watching as you can see all the race from traps to trip--

It is also really exciting to see a clever dog make its way through the feild as they take the bend some excel at bends

If they area bit slow out of traps they still have time to make up before the finish line making racing more exciting for those watching

not many dogs running into each other at the finish /running on sand not many toe injuries--

better facilities ie toilets /refreshments/seating inside/rain cover for spectators--

steve

just want to say horden has lovely facilities now. we just need the weather on sat theres a lovely cafe with a nice clean toilet. track is always fab too. also when its open rising sun facilities r great ie a pub which u can take the dogs in. bend tracks ive only been to easington and highgate and wudnt say the facilities were fab lol

all this just my opinion of course but when im inside say @ easington i find its just not the same as being outside cheering your mates dogs on, heck ive even been known 2 stand outside in the snow as imo its a better atmosphere outside. so long as i can sit down im happy :D
