the chances of it mutating to humans in Europe is slight (Ithink the latest quote is more chance of being struck by lightening) there has only been a handful of deaths worldwide and those were in asia(80) ,turkey etc where people live with their birds drink blood, eat entrails etc.FeeFee said:Bird flu can be dangerous to humans because the close contact between farmed poultry and people means the virus has a chance to combine with a human flu virus and mutate into a dangerous form. If it can mutate to humans why not dogs or anyother species? that is why it is being taken so seriously
