Well done all who did well

Sorry didn't get to meet Lawleymoon or Melanie :( - waved at Lolcoe in the distance but didn't get to speak - sorry!

Nice show - some lovely classes - so glad we were inside as outside it was bitterly cold and HAILING!!! (w00t) -another beautiful English spring day!!

Congratulations to Beerhound's Mum for her kind and patient judging - it must have felt like a very long day!!!

HAILING (w00t) what a shame :( it was beautiful yesterday and warm in the sun.good job you were indoors then

Melanie , nice to meet you and your family .I hope Dennis pointed you in the right direction for ringcraft . Dennis is one of the oldest whippet people we have , very much respected and I think I might be right in saying that more `OAKBARK` s( his affix ) whippets have been made into champions than any other affix ,

And yet neither he, his wife or his daughter Julie have ever been given the honour to judge at CRUFTS , Yet we have judges there who have never even won ONE CC let alone dozens , strange isnt it

thanks for that jax  going to go, if i manage to find it

i didnt realise who he was :b ruperts the 6month pup i have, sire is millenium gold :)

It really was a good day. I enjoyed the venue - just glad we weren't in an outdoor tent/ring. It was the strangest weather I've ever seen since I moved to this country. Bright sunshine interspersed with about 2 minutes of BATTERING HAIL, then bright sunshine, then BATTERING RAIN for 2 minutes. It was sooo bizarre and was like that all eay.

I really liked the venue the way it was laid out - lots of space, very relaxed - such a huge difference from the Manchester show where the whole thing is just PACKED with benches and tight rings, and really is a tense atmosphere for the dogs. This layout was very open.

WELL DONE to all K9'ers. That list is definitely getting longer.

It's such a shame regarding the Meakins never having been asked to judge at Crufts. It just goes to show that it's not all fair in love and dog showing. I'm not in any way being controversial just stating facts.

I was really pleased with Ivan - he was too busy being in love with Liz's Mabel that he forgot to hump and go stiff! :huggles:   He actually showed off the shape I see at home and managed to get placed!
Vanna, Ivan looked like a different dog yesterday- perhaps for a small fee I could double handle from outside the ring, using Mabel as 'bait'!

I was pleased to get a 3rd with Mabel- she was like a sulky teenager again, crouching and with a face like a slapped a*se when I tried to stand her!

Well done to all k9ers who did well- how many of you guys are going up to Scotland next week?

Thanks Liz,

It's nice to know that he sometimes can look the way he looks at home!

I think I should be asking Mabel what her fee is - perhaps she and Ivan can come to some arrangement - if she doesn't fancy him as much as he likes her, perhaps he can eat a bag of crisps at an appropriate moment!

Vanna - you were absolutely right - Ivan looked very good when I saw him on the table at Birmingham   - well done on BOTH your dog's placings.

Congrats to EVERYONE from k9 - Jenny's right - the list is certainly getting longer.

Vanna,

You may be onto something there- since Ivan's into sex and Mabel's into food, it could just work...
