p.s - we also show pedigree dogs (males thou) and people ALWAYS take bitches in season - but just keep them out of the way

i think it should be a kennel club rule that no bitches to attend any shows from the 5 day of her season to day 20 when i worked in the greyhound kennels no bitch could attend any race meeting until she was out of season if i rember it was 6 weeks before she was allowed to race

my boys dont take any notice of my girls until her 10th day then its like a mad house

i didnt agree with it either goran , but the judge also judged a bitch heavy in milk after obviously not long having pups . which also suprised me . you wont see my dog for weeks now as they are now in season . it happened at heart of wales if u remember . was a nightmare for the male dogs . but that woman wanted a rossette whatever happened .
Andy, it absolutely disgusted me that, a bitch in heavy milk was shown & I have written to the dog show organiser. At the Heart of Wales show as you know I was the judge & I did report the owner of the bitch in full season to the ring steward. It was a mixed sex championship, & I am totally convinced it upset the males in the ring. Glad to see you agree with me, despite you knowing the person concerned very well....
I was also upset by seeing a bitch heavily in milk and being shown this chap had 8 week old pups running loose next to the ring under cars and i asked the organiser if she would get them removed and she went over and asked him to put them in the car and put his dog on a lead. I do not like to see puppies up for sale at shows it is very traumatic for them people handling them and you dont know what germs are being passed around. The worse thing was last year the lurcher judge brought his own puppies to sell on the field i think this was very unprofessional and unfair on the puppies as he had travelled a long way to the show. some people amaze me they have no thought for the welfare of there pups they dont ask to be born
Im sure that the very same bitch was in that state at this show last year as well. It really winds me up - why the hell have puppies to make a quid or two - some people really dont give a S**T about their dogs at all.

I know of someone else who has just had a litter of puppies and they cant afford to look after them so are asking for donations off people.....dont breed when you know you cant afford to give them the care they need.

errrrr it makes me mad.

Isnt it a shame that people have to say things on facebook about me and not here where i can read it.

For your information Sue, this is my opinion on a situation not what was written on the other post, so you can stop telling people that i am the mistery person because im not.
