Anyone else’s dog has more than one operation for struvite bladder stones? if so have you been able to stop them happening again? Any advice would be greatful my little boy is only 6 & is a male Jack Russell

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear your pet suffers from bladder stones.

Treatment will depend on what’s causing your dog’s urine/bladder problem but might include medication, surgery or changes to their dog's diet. Some problems will only need treatment for a short time but other urine and bladder problems may mean your dog needs lifelong treatment or management.

Hope that helps:)
