Noki is around 5 1/2 months. I've noticed that his toys have some blood on them. His gums are not inflamed but around the base of 4 teeth are slightly bloody. It's not bothering him, and he's eating OK.

Is this just normal teething, or has he overstressed the little teeth by excessive chewing? The teeth affected are the 2 uppers in front of the long teeth and the 2 corresponding lower teeth. He likes to chew everything, sticks, carrrots, chewy rubber bones etc. He does like rawhide, but that seems to make the bleeding worse so that's now off limits. He's on a sound diet, Royal Canin.

Thanks

Michelle

Nothing to worry about , hes just teething , let him chew hard things as it easies his gums and removes his baby teeth in prep for his big boy ones . Cold raw carrots are ideal to sooth his gums

Ive loads of `teeth` from my gang that Ive saved over the years , but you dont always see them , sometimes they swallow them when playing . Ive even got the odd `cat `tooth too

In my pot that is , not my mouth

Ive managed to save a few of Kobis teeth, but Oscar must have swallowed all of his   wonder what little Archie will be like.

Dont worry before you know it .....those big knashers will be right there.... plenty of chews, pigs ears etc and hard bones uncooked. You can also freeze pieces of carrot and apple ...they seem to love these too. :)
