I'm afraid that I don't feel any the wiser.
The results are inconclusive as the changes noted in the samples may have been post mortem.
There were plenty of 'plump' (their word not mine) rod like bacteria in the sample. This would be consistent with an overwhelming growth in the clostridium population, but as I said not definitive. Had there been no 'plump' bacteria a least that would have ruled out an overwhelming growth and subsequent poisoning by the bacteria.
So it might have been a strain of clostridium, the injection or something else entirely. Back at square one!
It is disturbing to think with all the technology available these days that we can't be more precise .... healthy to dead in so few hours ought to leave some clues.
