Bones for teething puppy

So my Ruby has started teething and is chewing anything and everything and is clearly in some discomfort. Today i got some raw beef rib bones which she is now chomping on in pure delight! Are these ok to give to a 14 wk old puppy? Should i limit her chomp time?

I'll let someone else advise on the bones (I think they will be ok, being non weight-bearing) but something else you can try is a frozen carrot or even an old tea towel, cut into strips, plaited then soaked and frozen - the cold seems to help.

Ive tried both and neither seemed to hold her interest much although, she does love an ice cube!

You can also freeze her food in ice cube tray and let her chomp her food 'nuggets'..cold does help with the 'angry gums'

Gross as it might be, raw pigs trotters are good for teething, all my pups have chewed them, from GSDs to Cavaliers. Just make sure they are from UK pigs, you can freeze them & if they get grubby a quick rinse of boiling water wiil clean & sanitise them

It's strange, our lot just don't like the trotters. Of all the raw products that they have including raw pork bones, which are all quiet soft enough to eat, they will walk away from the trotters. Maybe it is because they don't like the skin. Weird doggies
