I booster all mine Keith, not personally the vet does it :teehee: I think it's a matter of personal choice it gives me piece of mind :D and I have paid for mine for life so Ijust take them get it done and they get a check up at the same time

Do what makes you feel comfortable if you think Jill isn't at full health yet just ring the vet and tell them you want to wait abit :)

To be honest with you Lesley, i dont think its neccesary to booster having read some of the responses on k9, maybe im wrong who can be really sure, sally has never had boosters and she,s never ailed owt, id hate to take her have it done and she took bad, but then again, her could be took bad if i dont.

Its just that i believe in what strike whippets had to say about boosting, once youve had your pup done then surely that should be it, boosters in my opinion are just lining the vets back pocket.

My Greyhound bitch started fitting after her 2nd booster ..........My best friends GSD has had Parvo TWICE  (she survived "just" each time) .....but hey shes always had ALL of her jabs, KC etc ......right on time, every year  ..........Boosters are a money making con IMHO ......If a dogs going to catch one of these illnesses, they'll catch it regardless ......as long as the immune system has been exposed to, and given time to build up against these dreadful dieseases (ie the puppy jabs) .....then the majority/all of dogs WILL be fine .......Again just my personal opinion

Keith, it has to be YOUR decision

I haven't had my pups vaccinated OR boostered for the last 10 years since i lost a much loved whippet to AI.

NEVER again, i have for the last 10 years vaccinated them all homeopathically & NEVER had a problem.

Now mine go to shows all over the country & out for walks each day.

I buy from Ainsworth in London & they do one that covers Kennel Cough as well & in 10 years ive never had a bout although people around me with their dogs at shows given the Kennel Cough vet treatment have STILL gone down with it too.

This is only MY personal opinion BUT if had a dog that had recently been poorly the last thing i would want to do is go pumping her with vaccine.

Good luck whatever you decide :luck:
