My white and blue dog has white feet, his pads are hard and he doesn't have any problems. I had an all white dog and his feet caused no problems. I walk mine on tracks that were used by tin miners and are very stoney, they race about on there with no ill effects, they might skin a stop pad but rarely anything worse. As Mally said, whippets really shouldn't have problems. I know corns are different having had dogs with corns. They are painful for the dog when walking on hard ground, my little bitch cleverly walks on the edges of the tracks and belts around in the field. She takes good care of her feet!
