I was wondering if there are any other bordenese owners on here? It’s a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and Border Collie. I guess they will be fairly rare? Any thoughts, comments or training tips would be gratefully received

I do know owners of both breeds and only one with this cross which sadly has the bad traits of both breeds.. its big and its nippy active loyal but a monster for running off.

I don't know the breed- but you've just solved the problem of the mystery dog I saw yesterday- and yup, that was it. It was out with its family and seemed pretty chilled. Since BC's are very clever and Bernese good natured and loyal I'm sure there's hope! Both are working breeds so I guess (like spaniels and corgis which I have) so long as you keep them mentally and physically engaged you should be OK-isk. Lovely pic by the way.
