I am now in the position that every six weeks (on the dot :- ) I have to purchase 3 bottles of black hair dye 1 for me,the other 2 for Jake.I have to do this as Jake has a complex, which I might add developed at a very early age, where he wouldn't go in for the lure incase the other dogs saw his grey hair.I know this to be true as I was advised by a dog whisperer off the telly, that by dying his hair it would correct the problem. This has deffinately worked and as i'm sure other whippet racers will verify the improvement in his racing
Who told you that load of tripe Karen, i think it's blatantly obvious why the dog has a complex - his racing improving seemingly coincides with George not being at the track, and as such i've written a letter to the welfare officer & whippet rescue to investigate the matter further as i have a sinking feeling poor Jake can't take any more.

One swallow doesn't make a summer - indeed!!
oh thats the saying ! i keep getting it the wrong way round and only swallow in the summer

It would seem someone with solid colour dogs doesn't like what i have to say and as such i've received threatening phone calls this evening, i can't repeat some of the things they said. It's ok though as they forgot to put the handset down and i heard them shouting all their dogs for tea, i intend to bring the Tyldesley Mafia to the next race event! BE WARNED

In all honesty Vicky,I think George is beyond help :( ,and I don't think any welfare officer would be able to help him. :( All he seems to do nowdays is,walk around with his trousers down below his backside and i've noticed he's gone quite bald on his thighs,it must be the stress of racing

Just reminded me Vicky thats a point we havent touched on yet 'teams' Tyldesley Mafia, and Manton Mob would need to know which dogs were able to run in the teams - altho please dont ask to use Manton Track yet as we have no grass !!!!!

I've emailed a list of the hairdye contents to the HFL,they have informed me that providing I get any Tom ,Dick or Harry to take the test,it'll pass :D

I think you'll find plenty of Dick's (as in D*** heads) in racing but do we have many Tom's and Harry's
