We have noticed Ripples doesn't like to eat out of her bowl - preferring to eat off a dinner plate...

Any ideas why?

dya think maybe the bowl; moves, or makes a noise, or is a shape she can't get her nose into the corners of, or smells funny, or is too tall sided for her to see over. Or maybe she's jealous of her humans plates?

I've taught dude not to go near human plates, hope he doesn't give up on his bowls!

If they didn't see a plate?

Like - ever?>?????

Molly is scared of shiny stainless steel bowls, big scary GSD that she is.

I think that it's quite natural to a certain extent and there are very few dogs that don't prefer to take their food out of their bowl and eat it off the floor or some other surface. This is an issue if your dog is eating a bloody chicken carcass off pale carpet ;)
