Yes Josie is Helens ..........Good God you are drunk woman lol.............Chris said bring a bottle (or 2) and anyone can sleep over at our's .....(even you Judy  )

Oh fab ! I am looking forward to this! Hannah, could Archie trial against another newbie like Josie, or is it against the rules. Lloyd wants him to have a race.......Ha! He is to fat to be fast, but you can't tell these blokes. Also, do we need to become club members to trial, or just pay on the day for the day?

I am jolly glad we don't have to have muzzles and knitted collars too (w00t) !

Rae, I would be thrilled to meet you and your gang at last! Should be fun! If I remember last year it was cold and wet, hope it is nice this time :))

We're coming to watch and enjoy the company and the plenitude of whippets, but it might be fun to give Josie a trial if there's time - do we need to get a muzzle? If so what type and will I get one in a standard pet shop?
Also I noticed at the Venture Sprint all the whippies had little wollen knitted collars - what are they for and do I have to get my knitting needles out before Boxing Day?

Hi Helen, those are coursing collars. You don't need them but if you have busy fingers I'll have white, blue and red ones!

I'd assume that she won't need a muzzle just for a trial!

Regards,

Scott.

It's not advisable for novice dogs to run together ............They only run against an experienced dog after they are running out of a trap and look fully focused  ..........To trial you don't have to join (but you can if you want, being a small club and all :- " ) ........but we are doing a raffle on Boxing day so donated prizes are very welcome :D

Ahhh I see! I think Lloyd had visions of Mouse and Archie pounding down the straight, and Archie beating his gobby cousin to the line!

I didn't think they would get 2 yards without losing interest in racing and having a scrap :D (w00t)

We would love Arch to have a trial!

How much is membership? How much on the day? And yes, I'll see if I can bring a raffle prize ;)

I'll bring a raffle prize too - what kind of things are you after?

Scott - you really and truly wouldn't want to put anything I'd knitted on your dogs. People would laugh. And ask you when you were going trawler fishing.

LOL ........NOTHING puts Thuggy off racing (w00t) .......He's obsessed with the lure (plus he's racing on the day :) )................Membership is £10 .....and it's only £1.50 for 3 trials for Archie......then some more money for raffle tickets :D

Right, off to Lombard Direct to arrange the loan now (w00t)

Will bring a raffle prize too - I assume alcohol is always a popular choice :p :D

As for seeing puppies on the way home......OH has said he would prefer a black one to a blue brindle parti (which is my fave), but not just yet :( Still, got almost one week to nag

Look forward to seeing you there :D

Ahh you see I have a black boy .........And you can ask Mark, blacks are very hard to find :- "

Nobody seems to have answered you - like it doesn't matter  Alcohol is the best choice :) :)

Needless to say we'll be going to the pub afterwards

You been to another Christmas party Nigel ?? ..........Your wife has already replied which is obvious really as Judy read the word alcohol and was in like a shot (w00t)
