It is one year to the day, when my best friend Bracken passed over to the Bridges.

Thank you Bracken for 13 brilliant years, of fun, laughter and making me pull my hair out at times.

Miss you wee man and will met you again one day baby.

RIP Bracken

Aww lovely picture Linda  and RIP gorgeous Bracken

What kind of a dog was he Linda??, besides a very big one

Bracken was a liver and white german wirehaired pointer.

He had a brilliant tempament, full of big sloppy kisses, would sneak into bed and fall asleep at your feet and snore his head off!!! But he was so protective of me. When OH and use to play fight and I pretended to hit him, Bracken would bark at OH!!!

His party trick was to take your socks off!!!! He would nibble at your toes, until he could get a good hold and then pull with all of his might!!! (We went through loads of sock........).

I'm so sorry Linda, I had no idea you'd lost a dear dog so recently :( Bracken looks a brilliant pal, it's such a shame Jenna didn't know him for longer as they look so gorgeous snuggle up together there :huggles:

Was he actually from Bamburgh? It's one of my favourite places in the whole world - that walk along St Aidans Dunes is mind-blowing. I can just imagine a wire-haired pointer galloping there!

What a lovely dog   and a gorgeous picture with Jenna. :huggles: :huggles:

RIP Bracken

Brack was my best friend (he was even named as an asset during my divorce as I did not want my ex OH to have him  )

Jenna loved him and she was six month old when he died, but she still looked for him when she was being dressed as he used to come and sit with her, for about two weeks after he passed over to the Bridges.

He was from Darwen Lancs, but I loved Bamburgh so he was named after a lovely place. He loved it when he visited as he would run up and down the dunes and into the sea!! Not a good idea with all that hair?? He was brilliant to watch on the moors and in woodlands, he was a brilliant working dog as well as a friend.

Anyway I have two lovely whippies trying to fill the Bracken shaped hole in my heart, and by god are they trying (w00t) (w00t)

He looks so handsome and sounds so special.  RIP Bracken. o:)

:huggles: :huggles: to you Linda.
