Apparently they are in june again this year,though i dont know for sure.They have started runnin it in conjunktion with the biggest game fair we have over here. It used to be in September and would have been the last show of the year,and the dog who would win was crowned ALL IRELAND CHAMP,and as it was the last show of the year there was no'one to take the title away from them till the next year.Now they hold it in June,and whoever wins could be beaten for the rest of the year ,and still be ALL IRELAND CHAMPION for that year.Stupid or what.And another thing that seems to happen is that once someone wins the title ,they dont race again in case they're beat.This years final in the overs was so close that a blanket could have covered all the dogs.My own wee bitch which i think you bred was 3rd,and to be honest wasnt ready as i was only imformed 2 weeks before it that i could run my dogs as the ban was lifted on me takin part.You know youreself that you dont pull a dog out of a shed and 2 weeks later have it ready to take on the best dogs in the country.I might be good ,but i cant perform miracles.The unders was won by Miss Torri.2 1/2 year old 7/8 WhippetxGreyhound,and a litter sister to Elly May who won the overs,She has won the ALL IRELAND unders for the last 3 years,and is about the best there is at the moment.I havent realy done much in the last 6 years ,and only done 4 shows last year winning the overs,with TARA,3 out of 4,who met and beat Darren Moore's MADDY(,who you also bred),and MEGAN,who was 6n1/2 years old last year ,n she beat Miss torri 3out of 4.Only raced her once this year as she had a hairline fracture of the hawk,. n only had the cast off for 4 weeks.Only wanted to see realy if it healed right,as it was in the same place as an old injury.The hawk was ok but she was just to old at 7 1/2,and got beat by 3 lengths in the final by Miss Torri .This wee bitch is out of the silver brindle dog that i had with me when i bought Bob n the mate bought Sexy Mover.The dam was a litter sister to Terry's Whisper,eg Wam Bam,n won a good few races,but was never done right n always full of flea's n worms.Terry's Whisper was the Dam of top stud dogs Mr Pickwick and Mr Bozz. Have bred one pup from her to Sky,the brother of Minster Rocket.She was 24 days in season when he mated her so we didnt know until she pupped.His mother, and her grandfather are i think brother and sister.Sorry ive written all this crap ,but i have a bad back n cant sleep.This takes the thought of the pain away for a bit n keeps the old mind of it....PS you still havent told me the breeding of Tara's mother,eg the Greyhound bitch.Darren doesnt remember it....Billy Harpur...GRAHAM PEM said:
