I don't know if any of you are going but in case you are I was told at ringcraft the other night you can not access the cattle market (entrance for the dog show) by coming from Leek way by Morrisons. That road is closed due to road works.
To get to the cattle market entrance you have to go on to the road that goes through Cheadleton. I think it is the A52 then turn left into the cattle market itself. As it stands at the moment cars willbe allowed onto the show ground if you have a car park pass. Only horse boxes will have to park in the cattle market and horses walked down into the show as they were last year.
I will update on the car parking issue if I hear anything between now and next week. At the moment I have been told the field is quite dry. I know last year it poured with rain the few days before the show and the field was boggy but we were still allowed to park on it. I don't think it caused any major problems for the dog exhibitors last year but it was very wet and boggy in other areas.
