Hi Millie/Dessie,

I have tried to pm you both but for some reason, it doesn't seem to be happening :(

Thanks for taking the time to chat yesterday, it was really nice to meet you both, and especially nice to meet your dogs :- "

We had a great day, and I was very proud of Ollie when he had a "puppy" run at the end. I thoght he followed the lure really well (and I think he would have loved to have carried on (w00t) )

I was hoping to send a message to the lady whose dog sprained a muscle (she was the first person that I asked whether they knew Millie and Dessie!!) She did tell me what her name was on the forum, but i have completely forgotten it :b

Look forward to seeing you both soon

Tracy

What were the the results?  Who did the winning in whippets?
Now I feel really bad Liz. :b

I felt guilty running away before the end, but I did take some of the posts out of the fencing, promise.

Unfortunately, this means that I can't let you know any of the results. We did take some pics though and I will hopefully be able to download them tonight and then post them tomorrow.

With any luck, one of the other K9ers who were there will see this thread and update you all...........

Joy Noel-Smith had a good day winning Class 1 with Spiders 'N' Spoons (my Ronan's son YaY!!!) and Class 4 with First Of All. Deb and Digger (Arjuna Joe Bloggs) won Class 2 and Mrs Knowles (nice lady don't know her first name!) with Innocent Ivor won Class 3 and BOB after a run off with Joy's Basil (Spiders 'N' Spoons).

but BIF was the lady whose name also escapes me (but I will remember!!) with a Borzoi. I am still puzzling over that award cos there was only 3 Borzois present as far as I can remember!!!

My Rupert came over all unnecessary and behaved like a complete idiot and Django ...............well, hasn't got a clue really!!! Bless him! But he enjoyed his day out!

Bridget,

I have just pmed you (Millie was kind enough to send me a link) I am so sorry to hear about Jasmine, how awful for both her and you. I hope all goes well with the operation, and will be thinking of her tomorrow.

Bless her, I think we all thought she would just need a rest for a while and then be good as new. :(

Take care, please let us know that everything is okay......

Really sorry to hear about Jasmine Bridget. :(

Hope that she's on the mend soon.

Congrats to the class winners.

Sorry to hear about Jasmine :(

Fingers crossed it will go well tomorrow :luck:

Well done to everyone who did well  Wish I could have been there, but yet again circumstances didn't allow it, it always seems to clash with something I can't get out of!!!

Thanks for the results, Dessie. Congrats to the winners.

Really sorry to hear about the injury to Jasmine I do hope the leg mends well and that she can run about OK again soon.

Jasbri

How brave was that little dog!!!! You must be so proud of her. I watched with you whilst she was felt all over very thoroughly by the vet and not a sqeak. One brave cookie

I really, really hope all goes well tomorrow. My thoughts are with you :luck: :luck:

Bridget I'm getting worried now about Jasmine. Is she okay?

I hope Bridget won't mind me replying on her behalf but she may be busy and to put your minds at rest! Jasmine fractured her femur and tore ligaments but she is back home after a visit to an orthopaedic specialist .............. I get the feeling she will be milking the situation (rightfully so!!) in a couple of days once she has got over the anaesthetic!!!

Sorry folks, in my confusion I posted her update on the Whippet General Forum, but I do have an excuse :- " I am soooooooo relieved (& rather tired -_- ) Thanks for showing you care!

I'm so glad that Jasmine has come through her operation okay, and hope that she recovers fully as quickly as possible.

I couldn't get near a computer yesterday, so wasn't able to find out if all was okay.

She looks so woeful in the picture, and I think Dessie is right that she'll be milking it, but then so would we, bless her
