taken up residence in the garden or she thinks she has.
Because OH has been busy for the last few days widening the drive ready for our caravan to come home this morning the dogs have had to stay in their cartes for their own safety. The front door has been open most of the days whilst he's outside. It has been so hot here too hot to leave the dogs in the garden our garden is a sun trap with no shade. The whippets will stay out forshort periods then bark to come in. Last night when I got home I put an old crate up in the garden and covered it with a tarpaulin to give them some shade when they are outside.
Button has decided it is her ' tent' and has been camping in it all day. She came in briefully for her tea and then took herself and her bone back outside. She's not been right since William died. I hope she has just decided she wants some 'me' time away from the whippets. She can roam around the garden but everytime I've been to check on her she's been in the crate. She's not even chewed the carpet in there which she will do in minutes in her indoor crate.
I went out about half an hour ago and had to con her into coming into the house.
Maybe I should try enroling her in the local Girl Guides
