Im not saying he shouldnt be allowed to run, but the commitee should not be able to change rules when they feel like it.[this rule should have been changed years ago] instead many dogs have been deprived of winning titles.

have just transfered rag crazy from dave bally spot from chris to me we have paid our membership well before the 28 day rule both dogs are registed for life we have been told we can run both dogs whats the problem

But of course that does not include retaining of equipment so dogs cannot run.

Hi Gary, yep I do apologise for that comment, and please accept my sincere apologises, I was very stressed at the time...

I'm still wondering if I should reply to this, cos I really don't want to drag this out any longer, but if the truth be known the BWRA did receive my monies in time, however I sent it direct to L. Rowley (via special delivery) and not via my club. That is in my opinion is the only error I made, if I'd sent it via Sheila none of this would of occured. At the end of the day I was only trying to simplify the situation.

At the Tyrone for some reason or another people took great pleasure in telling me my dog was'nt eligible for the champs, and that hurt. I thought to myself my dog has suffered with no running for almost 6 month's, hasn't seen a bend track for a year, and run his heart hurt to to take supreme, and I was delighted with him.

When my monies were returned to me, I then sent them via Sheila so she could send them back to the registrar, and this is when my prediciment became common knowledge (I wish I knew how). With that I appealled to the BWRA stating my case. And, they found in my favour, I believe this option to appeal is open to all members.

At the end of the day I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG, my dog does'nt fight, he is not on drugs, he just loves racing.

And, as I have quoted even my monies being late actually does not invalidate his partcipation in the Bend Champs, and I'm sorry if people think i've underminded them cos' I actually read the rules through and through, a registered dog can still run as long as his membership is renewed prior to the event.

I hope no one can now misunderstand my situation, and hope we can have all good day's racing next Sunday. And, that everyone can have a nice day without any hassle or bad feeling.

what a farce,i have had my problems over the last 4 month,as you all know,mother in hospital,daughter in hospital,driving miles and miles,day in day out,but i paid my subs,and i have no hopers..,well i hope..,and i love the sport,so i pay my subs on time just incase,YOU NEVER KNOW,FUNNY OLD GAME IS WHIPPET RACING,good luck,anyway

The problem I have Paul, is that as Sheila Webb stated in her reply that you told her at the AGM meeting that you had lost your BWRA card. That meeting was in january, this gives you plenty of time to sort out the problem.

BUT WHAT DO I KNOW IM ONLY THE CHAIRMAN.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with you running the dog. But once again you jump in with both both feet and cant wait to tell people how wrong they all are without getting the facts right. This just gets peoples backs up.

well said Gary. I don't think anyone has a problem with Pauls dog running or anyone elses come to that providing everyone is and has been treated the same, which they havn't. The main issue here is the way in which it has been dealt with. and by the way paul if there weren't any no hopers there wouldn't be any winners..
