Shock of the day for me was Connor's Legacy (Rch Connor's Legacy (w00t) ) would you believe but Mum asked me not to run her on the saturday evening and again asked me not to run her before we left on the sunday morning. Bumpy is 5 weeks from season and pretty inconsistent, I have cursed her in the past for being a wide runner but she got the luck on the day and the work paid off :lol: Never shouted so much in my life :b .

Certainly she taught me one thing, pay your money and take your chance. We have missed champs in the past because we either didn't feel like going or we felt that the dogs weren't quite right. You never know your luck in a raffle, sometimes you get the luck and other times something goes wrong .

Well Done all winners and r-ups (especially the Manton Gang). See you all again soon. :teehee:

thanks first to highgate the track was in great condition and well looked after all day, also well done all the worker and bwra committee i know what a early start you had some getting up at 3 in the morning and worked hard all day a very big thank you, for a well run champs,

thanks to everyone for your congrat's, we are so proud of mickey ( sup Rch Bound Too ) he's always loved the bend's and got his first 20lb rch title at just 15 months old, he never put a foot wrong yesterday and he just could'nt understand what all the fuss was about after the final, and today wanted his walk and was running about like he had never raced yesterday,

well done Gary taking Sup Bitch :thumbsup: and Geoff and Hazle's with penny taking sup scratch, :thumbsup:

also all the champs, and runner up's, some very good racing, a big well done to Sheila + Arthur and Rch Eversley Lad, he's running brill, :thumbsup: and not forgetting Val and Andy well done you two with Boot's ( Rch Mc Pocket, ) :thumbsup:

was really pleased with my other two Jack ( Cracking ) ran great in His Ht and got abit of a bang in the final, but was really pleased with him, :thumbsup: and Poppy ( hells Double ) getting runner up and only her second race on the bends, she's still only 16 months old, well pleased with them both :thumbsup:

Well done to everybody concerned, the dogs for entertaining us with some brilliant racing as Denise and Gary said to many fine performances to mention them all. The Committee for running a great meeting, Highgate for the way they worked on our behalf, thanks once again Jac for the great photos (another one I would like to order please).

I would like to congratulate Trevor and dad Wally on their two fine bend racers O.B.2. and Trevor's Chaser they always turn up trumps for you with yet another bend title each they seem to be endless, although Trevor told yesterdays would be Trevor's Chaser last bend race, so I hope she enjoys a long and happy retirement she has certainly earned it.
