the jack cadman had already been changed after a proposal put forward not once but twice by no other than the editor of whippet news first in 2003 and then again in 2004 yes thats right Chris Cornish, sec Amanda Causies the jack cadman and abcde to split into two groups 18 votes to leave it as it is 36 votes this vote being taken in the agm, then Chris Cornish put the proposal in again sec G. Fox, in 2004 THAT THE JACK CADMAN BE SPLIT INTO TWO GROUPS UPTO 24LB AND UPTO 32LB this went out to a postal vote and the same committee counted the vote then as counted the vote this time,i.e Doreen, and the vote was FOR 129 AGAINST 40 ABS 13, so the format had already been changed and the event still kept the CLASSIC STATUS,

so did the seem people start a petition when it was changed in 2004 ???" NO"

did you all want the vote counted again "NO"

did you all want its CLASSIC STATUS removed in 2004,"NO"

why did the editor not remove the CLASSIC STATUS when she put forward for the format to change ??

The format change of lightweight and heavyweight split into two groups had little effect on the meeting, dogs and bitches still ran together and this split was made because of the low entries of heavyweight dogs and bitches previously to the split, and also a safety issue, but as we all know full well this is not what you, hellbound are on about.

Those who are making a petition or signing a petition have a democratic right to do so, and no i am not making a petition and neither have i signed or been ask to sign one for many a year but if i have made or signed one that is for me to decide not you.

You can of course get a petition up and send it off to the Whippet news or the BWRA asking for the reinstatement of classic points for this event, and i am sure that if enough sign then the bwra will ask the whippet news and also the whippet news would listen.
